The Australian Men’s Team competed in one World League Tournament, in 1999. The team played against Italy, Russia and Poland, and saw 6 games held in Australia. The inclusion in the World League was a vital step in preparing Australia for the International competition and what to expect when they competed at the Sydney Olympic Games the following year.
